These images come straight from the pages from the latest Urban Outfitters lookbook, and quite honestly I think I'm in love. What appeals to me is the fact that the artistic nature of the images takes precedence over the garments, which is a seriously rare quality when it comes to advertising clothing.

I'm very aware of just how many times the cover of Issue #92 has been posted on the internet today, but I just cannot get over the combined talent of both Bec Parsons (the photographer) and Bambi Northwood-Blyth (the model). A sample of the rest of the editorial is above but the remainder can be viewed on Oysters tumblr, and I can assure you now that it's just as brilliant as the cover.

There's no other feeling quite like receiving something in the post. Letters are simply lovely but packages stir even more excitement as I rip them open in a not so classy style. Today, I was fortunate enough to be the recipient of two highly anticipated packages, one containing ASOS goods, the other my new boots.

I now have a new pair of sunglasses to add to my slightly large and obsessive collection and a pair of boots (pictured right) that are free from holes (unlike my old pair on the left). I'm starting to feel like I'm ready for the winter and I don't even mind the idea of cold rainy days, as long as there's many cups of tea and/or coffee involved.

With the Australian dollar currently rising above the greenback (and expected to continue to rise to USD$1.12), now is the perfect opportunity to get some overseas action in your online shopping. Each of these stunning pieces are handmade and all created by UK designer Kathryn Blackmore. Shipping is available worldwide and you can shop the store here

Here goes. I'm stepping out on a limb and taking a bit of a risk here. Generally I blog about my own photography yet I've found it restricting and almost self-centered. For a while I've wanted to just blog without limits, and so from now on I will. The above photographs are from the wonderful blog of Rachel Kara, Sweet Bird of Youth. If you have not stumbled across this amazing site yet, please get yourself a cup of tea (or coffee, whichever floats your boat) and allow yourself to get lost in its pages for at least an hour. You can thank me later.
