I can't seem to get enough of chunky winter knits this season. I only own one myself but I expect my collection to hopefully soon grow. It will never be as impressive or enviable as that of Hannah Rose from Capture the Castle though. Her blog is just full of chunky knit porn, for examples see here and here. If you have any suggestions, please let me know because right now I just feel like a hyper five year old in a rather large candy store (minus the candy for thousands of stunning knitted sweaters).

I'm madly in love with my new collared shirt from ASOS and the Stolen Girlfriends Club Rapture belt that arrived midweek. I'm a little afraid that I may impale myself whilst wearing the belt but it'll at least make for an interesting story. Today I'm getting started on uni assignments and cooking up a batch of pumpkin soup. Funny story, I don't like pumpkin, but I like pumpkin soup. That's not actually all that funny, but it's true. After that I'll hopefully squeeze in an hour or two of being rugged up in bed and watching episode after episode of Community.

While killing time in the city yesterday I met up with some friends at Mad Spuds Cafe in Surry Hills. Although I didn't have time to actually eat anything myself, the meals being placed on the table before me had the most amazing aroma. The toasted sandwich that Chloe is hacking into above, was a combination of brie, bacon, aioli and rocket. I know, you're salivating just over the thought of it. If I ever get a spare moment, I'm going to head back there and order myself a meal. Or two.

I do have to apologise for my lack of posting. Long story short, I'm currently writing an incredibly overdue essay. Welcome to the life of an art student kids! Now the real reason for this post if of course the stunning orange fold-over leather clutch that you see before you. It sold out on Need Supply Co. a short time ago but I opted to be notified when it came back in stock and guess what? It's back! For US$130, this baby could be all yours. I'm still umming and ahhing over whether I need it or not (I do already know that the answer is no, I do not) but of course a girl can dream, right?

Ok, so I thought that my belt was pretty hardcore but this denim jacket takes it to a whole new level. Despite the fact that a five year old could probably make it (although five year olds and safety pins shouldn't really mix), it still looks absolutely amazing. If I had the time and/or the energy, I would turn this into a DIY project. If anyone decides to give it a try, let me know so I can just live vicariously through you instead!

This Stolen Girlfriends Club 'Rapture' belt has been high on my list of coveted items for quite a while. Firstly, it's attractive. That point really doesn't need further elaboration, I'm pretty sure that you can all see how great it is with your own eyes. Secondly, it can be used as a weapon which is a massive bonus for when a seedy old man decides he wants to start dancing all up in your space at a club. And thirdly, the spikes are detachable for when you're feeling a little less aggravated and want to appear as somewhat nice. These three reasons combined (as well as the fact that I have a penchant for dangerous accessories) are why I decided to purchase this "multipurpose" belt. If you're thinking of doing the same, I suggest you order it from as the black has sold out everywhere else online, plus they have free shipping within Australia.

I'm just going to go out there and say it, this video featuring the Summer 2011 collection from We Are Handsome makes me miss summer. A lot. It makes me want to go for a long road trip through the small country towns, stopping every few hours for burgers and milkshakes on my way to our perfect beaches. This year I feel like more of a winter type but that's purely because last summer was more of a monsoonal season rather than the traditional Aussie heat wave we tend to experience. Whilst I'm at it, I wouldn't mind owning the corset bikini in 'the destination' print to take with me on my nonexistent road trip. Who's coming with me? Or more importantly, who's shouting me a vanilla milkshake?

Considering that Kate Foley is a buyer for Opening Ceremony, not only do I envy her home but I also envy her lifestyle. Who wouldn't though? From the admirable shoe collection right down to her cute tea cup, I want it all. Her taste is impeccable in a sort of unrefined way. To put it simply: Kate is quirky and I absolutely love that. If I can't have everything in her life, I'll at least settle for those metal-toed Opening Ceremony red pumps she's wearing. I just hope that we're the same size.

I first saw these amazing Sabre sunglasses on the lovely Jessica of tuula and it was roughly then and there that I fell in love with them. Considering that I have been searching for a similar pair at a reasonable price for quite a while, I felt like I'd hit the jackpot with these babies. They are relatively cheap compared to other brands (US$130 including shipping), however I still need just a little bit of convincing. Someone please help me to validate purchasing these beautiful sunglasses?

Yesterday I started off an internship with the Beauty Editor at an Australian magazine and basically spent the day trawling through the cupboards sorting and filing away the amazing products. The offices themselves are simply stunning and it took a lot of willpower for me not to set up camp in the corner and just live there. After a few hours of cleaning out the eyes/lips cupboard, I was allowed to take home a small bag of any doubled-up items that were left over. Lucky for me, there were multiples of quite a few products so it took a while for me to choose. Above is a picture of what I chose (plus a pair of false eyelashes). The Illamasqua lipstick is actually one that I recently purchased off ASOS, thanks to my lovely gift card, but I found the exact same shade within the cupboards, so I just had to add it in. Unfortunately, it had to be thrown away because it had been cut off near the base and only a small amount was left over. The good news is that I'm back there again next Tuesday doing odd-jobs to make Justine & Rosie's lives a little easier, and I seriously can't wait!

Lately I've had to become more patient as I wait for parcels to arrive in the mail (come on fujifilm instax, I need you in my life!) and as I slowly but surely make my way through roll after roll of film. The photo above is one I took last year but for some strange reason, I never posted it anywhere despite the fact that I actually really do enjoy it. As soon as I've developed and scanned my film, there will be new content of my own on the blog so until then, patience my friends (that was lame, I'm sorry but I just had to).

I may or may not have ordered myself a Fujifilm Instax Mini 7s over the weekend and I may or may not have bought some extra film to be shipped along with it. I can't help it though, I have a weakness for anything camera related, I was just born that way. I'll be taking this sweet thang with me across to Splendour in the Grass so if you see a very tall girl holding one of these then be sure to say hi (no really, I have no friends so please say hi to me). Is there anything that you guys have a weakness for? Sunglasses, wallets, shoes, etc? Please share your indulgences with me so that I don't feel so bad for my recent purchase.

Taken by Chloe (if you don't check out her blog, you will regret it for the rest of your life. Guaranteed). Wearing ASOS Shearling Jacket, Stolen Girlfriends Club Persian Rug Bag and Levi's.

These babies from the Balenciaga Spring 2011 collection will only set you back a mere US$1,275 from I know that my birthday isn't for at least another six months but I thought it'd be a great idea to start notifying friends and family so that they can start saving. How very thoughtful of me, right?

I have for you all a sneak peek of 'Tipony', the Spring/Summer 2011 collection from jewellery designer Alushia Sanchia, set to be released in August this year. For her debut collection, Alushia is certainly starting off strong with some of the most stunning and wearable pieces that I've seen thus far (don't get me started on the cuffs, I could honestly go on forever). Not only has Alushia thought about the aesthetics of the collection but even the particular stones used in each piece, stating that she had "chosen to work with Black onyx and Turquoise for their strong protection, healing and transformation qualities". Now all that we have to do is impatiently wait until the collection is available in August, right here.
