Thanks to the ever so generous Cecylia of Cecylia.com I had the pleasure of attending Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival on Saturday evening for their Review of Australian Fashion Week. The fifty minute show was filled with amazing designers and showcased some of the most stunning garments I've ever  seen. I'm not even joking when I say that there's more to come, I just felt as though I didn't want to bombard you with too many pictures of such pretty clothing, all at once. Oh and just quietly, how great is that Stolen Girlfriends Club dress pictured first? I can just tell that my bank account is going to hate me come summertime.

VICTORY LAP

Shot on a Nikon D90.
A slightly different version to the traditional victory lap as seen last night at MBFF Sydney. Considering that the show went for fifty minutes, there are plenty of photos to come but for now I thought I'd just leave you with this short clip of the models wrapping up the evening in a very entertaining way.
P.s I apologise about the quality, it plays in HD on vimeo but once it's on the blog, it converts back to SD for some very strange and annoying reason.

For us Australian folk, spring is only five days away, I mean not that I'm counting or anything lame like that. You may have seen some of these pictures previously but I just couldn't help compiling some favourites of my spring/summer film shots to get you all in the mood for the amazing weather that's hopefully headed our way (weather man you better not let us down this year). Pretend that it's not ridiculously overcast right now and instead think picnics in the park followed by a quick dip in the pool and a freshly squeezed juice. Bliss.

SPRING

Something about this picture makes me incredibly excited about the fact that in one week and one day, spring will be here. You'd think that a picture of a girl frolicking through a field of flowers in a light flowing dress would be the image to stir such an excitement, but no, not me. Maybe it's the white on white with a hint of red, or maybe it's just Maria's amazing tan? Either way, I'm hungry for some Aussie sunshine, aren't you?

Yesterday marked the day that the youngest in our group of Uni girls, finally turned nineteen. We celebrated by spending nearly the entire day (not even exaggerating) in the upstairs area of an incredibly cute cafe in Redfern, eating the most delicious brownies and just being ridiculously loud. I apologise about this post being rather image heavy, I actually tried to edit it down. And yes, that means there's more so expect another post at a later date my friends!
