If you had told me 12 months ago that I'd be doing half the things I've done throughout 2011, I probably would have laughed in your face. Rude, I know but this year has been the most insane and unbelievable of my life thus far. Highlights included photographing Good Vibes for Sportsgirl, becoming an intern for both the Beauty Editor at Famous magazine and Sara Phillips, taking behind the scenes images and film at two Mad Love campaign shoots (one with Anja Konstantinova), travelling down to Melbourne with Mads, previewing stunning collections from different PR companies, being sent to Queensland to photograph and review Splendour In The Grass, attending Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival, shooting a mini editorial for Breakfast With Audrey, being photographed for Shop Til You Drop and of course, meeting so many amazing Australian bloggers that if I even tried to name them all, we'd be here for days. What I love about that list, is that it's just a taste of what I've been up to over the last year and I already know that next year will only get bigger and better. I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that 2012 will be your best year yet!

I was recently asked to be involved in a Christmas themed campaign by the amazing team at Door 121, featuring 12 Bloggers of Christmas. The interview went live on Christmas day but you can head over to the site and check it out here! I'm hoping you all had a wonderful holiday break and managed to score all the presents you were after. Sadly, I found neither Ryan Reynolds or a Canon 5D Mark II under my tree but hey, there's always my Birthday (which happens to be tomorrow)?
Each Christmas I make up a batch of Mars Bar Ice Cream to share with the family but because this year our holiday season is quite hectic, I ended up making it a little early. It's such a simple, delicious recipe that has slowly become a sort of tradition of ours. Unfortunately, I can't exactly share a bowl of my ridiculously tasty ice cream with you (trust me, I would if I could), so instead I'm wising you all a very Merry Christmas!
Christmas came early for me this year with the perfect gift from my favourite accessories label, Benah. I think it's safe to say that I've been head over heels in love with these Ryder sandals for quite a while, you may have even noticed them on my blog a short time ago. I'm hoping for a warm Christmas day this year so I can at least show off these babies, but even if it's pouring with rain, I'll probably still wear them. Along with the shoes came a campaign magazine filled with the most beautiful images and words (some from Hannah-Rose) that I'm purposely saving for my short trip up to Newcastle tomorrow. Magazines count as reading material, right? Thanks again to Brenda and her amazing team for not only consistently producing the most covetable items, but for also spoiling me like crazy this Christmas!
I've been eyeing off the stunning Acne Modern skirt for months (especially after seeing it in person on the gorgeous Jessie of We The People) but the broke art school student in me sadly couldn't afford the US$375. Just as I was about to give up on finding the perfect maxi, I stumbled across the Asymmetrical Fold skirt from the Melbourne label Thursday, Sunday while browsing one of my favourite blogs, Capture the Castle. Chances are that I probably won't be able to afford this beautifully cut skirt either, but even if I just get to see it on someone else (possibly even photograph it), I'd be completely content with that.

Last week I made my way across to Bondi with two gorgeous girls, Krystal and Hannah-Rose, to celebrate the opening of Bondi Hardware. If you haven't already guessed from the above pictures, Bondi Hardware was once a hardware store but has now been stripped back to a stunning bar and restaurant (it actually took me some time to comprehend that it was once just a tool store). We were treated to endless amounts of delicious food and drink while we spent the night chatting away at our table. If you're ever in the area, you should definitely head on down to Hall St to check it out because they make a seriously mean wood fired pizza.
This year, the luxurious Aussie label Banjo & Matilda have set up their own Christmas themed pop-up shop on William St, right in the heart of Paddington. In celebration of their store, they've introduced a new Christmas colour palette just in time for the festivities. I can already imagine my entire family wearing matching Ruby Red Surfer Knit Cable Sweaters. Cheesy, yes, but you have to admit that it's kind of cute. The store happens to be filled with a selection of presents that make buying for "someone with everything" a lot easier; think travel pillows, eye masks and cashmere blankets. Oh and let's not forget the free gift wrapping, yes you read that correctly, free!

These are just some snippets of my life and what I've been up to over the past few weeks. You may have noticed that I've been taking some photos of the gorgeous Jess of Tuula (you really should check out her blog if you haven't already done so) and if you follow me on twitter you'll also be aware of how hectic (in a good way) my life has been recently. I still have some very exciting projects coming up over the next few months, one including the lovely Marg of Shine By Three so stay tuned folks.

This year it almost feels like Christmas has crept up on me and so with only fourteen days to go, I thought it'd be a great idea to drop some hints for family and friends as to what I presents I'd love to find underneath the tree. Granted, this wishlist is just a little bit more luxe than your average (massive understatement, I know) but a girl can dream right? I've even made it super easy for them by linking each product back to its online store! I'm just like, soo incredibly thoughtful sometimes.

Earlier on in the year I was invited along to the Autumn/Winter 2012 campaign and lookbook shoot for the amazing Australian label Joveeba. The collection was shot in the most stunningly raw studio space in Surry Hills and modelled by the gorgeous Lauren R. When I arrived, they were just finishing up a look that included the perfect pair of flared trousers that I seriously couldn't stop fawning over. I don't want to give away too many details on the collection just yet but you should certainly keep an eye on the Facebook page to keep up to date!

Pants covered in sequins? Yes, they exist and yes, they are mind-blowing. One of these days I'll finally find myself a pair of these "party pants" but for now I'll just have to stare at these ones in amazement instead.
