DIY

Photobucket
Taken on a Nikon D90.
Yesterday I hauled my sewing machine out of the cupboard and finally made a pastel pink suede clutch using some offcuts that Sara Phillips kindly gave me. All I needed was a 9" exposed zipper (next time I'll try to find a longer one), different lengths of suede and a sewing machine with a fairly sharp and sturdy needle. It took just over half an hour and now I finally have a fold over clutch to throw in all of my essentials for a night out.

  3. So awesome. I've been wanting to try out something similar but can't find any nice leather (or leather-look fabric) to do so. Need to get me some designer connections haha

  4. Oh wow, I'm so envious of your sewing skills! I couldn't even pass sewing class in high school haha. You should sell these! I would most certainly buy them from you. :)

  14. Super cool! It's not easy to sew leather if you're not trained...
