What do you get when you mix some of the most talented people I know, a weekend in Port Stephens and a bunch of sand dunes? The answer is a ridiculously good time and a broken leg. I recently ventured up the coast to take part in a shoot for one of my favourite brands, Zipporra the label. Shot by Josh Hedge, filmed by Andrew Kaineder, modelled by Meg Fairbairn, designed by Karen Fulton and styled by Basilia Dulawan - it was pretty much a dream team (or Z-Team as we like to call it). Click those links, stalk these people and bookmark their sites. Once you spend a few minutes with them, it's painfully obvious that these are the young creatives that are going places. I still have a few more images to post so expect to see them over the coming weeks, otherwise if you're feeling impatient then check out the Zipporra Facebook page to see the whole collection!
P.s This post is dedicated to Dave, for breaking his leg (in three places) on the dunes and still managing to party with us only a few hours after.
This shoot has to be one of my favourites to date. You simply cannot go wrong when you combine both 35mm & 120mm film, the impeccable taste of Talisa and the natural beauty of Giorgia. I don't really want to complicate this post with too much text, so instead I'll just leave you with this thought: there is more to come.
Two things that I never thought I'd do: get a Michael Kors watch and post two outfits in a row. Now I've gone and done both in one go. I know, it's crazy hey? The first was made possible thanks to Status Accessories and to be honest, I think I'm in love. The classic style and versatility of the watch has me finally understanding why they're so incredibly popular (especially within the fashion world). Rather than rubbing my new arm candy in your faces while you stare at your empty wrist in despair, I thought I'd share some rather exciting news with you - Status Accessories happens to be hosting a competition to win a $500 voucher on their Facebook page. THAT MEANS YOU AND I COULD BE TWINSIES. Totes frothing. The competition will close quite soon but entering is ridiculously easy, in fact I'm almost positive a 3 year old could do it (especially one of those freaky babies that sits in its pram playing with it's mum's iPhone). And just for some motivation, here's a picture of the watch in a bowl full of jewellery. Tumblr, eat your heart out.
